Egg Diet Plan
Egg diet plan is great for those who want fast result without going on a fad diet. Contrary to what you may think this diet does not require eating exclusively eggs. The menu is pretty balanced and includes many fresh citrus fruits and raw or slightly cooked vegetables. This diet will help you boost your metabolism and burn body fat without that annoying hunger feeling.
Egg Diet Plan Rules
The rules are simple. As in all healthy and balanced diets you are not allowed to eat any junk food such as candy, cakes, French fries etc. Also limit the amount of salt and sugar. Avoid drinking sweet beverages and alcohol. The important part of any diet is drinking plenty of water.
Why You Need Hydration?
Water will hydrate your body, nourish your body cells and will help you eliminate toxins. Make sure you drink at least 8 cups of water daily or possibly even more. Keep track of how much water you drink for the first few days as it may be difficult to meet the daily requirement of water especially if you are not used to drinking it regularly. It may seem as a lot of liquid at first, but don’t be discouraged: you will soon get used to that amount. Another important fact about water is that many overweight people mistake the hunger with thirst.
How often do you feel like you want to have a bite of something but can’t pinpoint what is that exactly that you want?
If this sounds familiar, chances are that your body is severely dehydrated and you merely need to drink more water. It may also be the main reason why you struggle to lose weight. So simply drinking enough water every day could be enough for you to shed extra pounds and get in great shape.
In addition, regular water consumption will teach you how to distinguish the thirst feeling from hunger feeling helping you eat less food.
But back to the egg diet. The creators and followers of this diet claim that you can lose up to 14 pounds in 2 weeks without gaining it back on.
Here are a few steps for you to take while on this diet:
Begin your day with a generous piece of citrus fruit such as orange or grapefruit and 1-2 hard boiled eggs.
Limit your food to 3 meals per day without snaking in between.
Drink your water between your meals. If you are feeling hungry, drink green tea and eat citrus fruit.
Have your dinner no later than 7 o’clock at night.
